[05/24] A Heartfelt Day with Veterans at Timbercreek Rehab and Healthcare Center

This past weekend, we had the honor of visiting Timbercreek Rehab and Healthcare Center in Pekin, where we spent the day serving a delicious meal to their resident veterans and hearing some powerful combat stories. The support from Timbercreek was outstanding, and even their nursing staff included veterans, so we had the chance to show our appreciation to them as well!

A special thank you to @missionbbq, who generously donated the food in anticipation of Memorial Day. Their commitment to veterans is unwavering, and we’re grateful for their continued support in honoring those who served.

We also want to thank @peartreetalents for their thoughtful, handmade R.E.D. soldiers, which were a huge hit with the veterans! These gifts, created with such care, served as a beautiful reminder that their sacrifices will never be forgotten.
